As an Afro-Latina entrepreneur, Dilcia McRoy built Investara from a deeply personal understanding of financial barriers — the kind that are rarely talked about but profoundly felt.
She experienced firsthand how limited access to financial knowledge creates cycles that are hard to break. That experience became the foundation of everything Investara stands for: access, education, and empowerment — not as buzzwords, but as a real operating philosophy.
The mission was never just to help individuals improve their credit scores. It was to build scalable systems of financial empowerment that could reach families, students, entrepreneurs, and communities who have historically been left out of the conversation.
